Picked this up at the supermarket for HK$180. Nose is classic Marlborough — passionfruit, grapefruit, fresh-cut grass. Palate is crisp with zippy acidity. Clean finish. Solid everyday white but honestly, I have had NZ Sauvignons at half the price that were just as good. 7/10. What do you all think?
Agree with your score. Cloudy Bay was groundbreaking 20 years ago but the category has caught up. Try Villa Maria Private Bin or Oyster Bay for similar quality at a better price point in HK.
